happy and bubbly orange bab, he lived a very normal and happy bab life. he would hunt and eat and sleep, general bab things uvu

oddly enough he was a bab that lived alone, he did not have any family nor did he want one. he was plenty happy with being alone and being able to live a peaceful life.

while on a hunt one evening he came across a human. he hadn't grown up with the hatred for them but instincts did make him wary.

he came up to this lone human and started to converse with them.

he found out this human was a social outcast and was very sad and lonely, which the bab couldn't understand since he loved being alone. but he did feel for the human and decided to befriend him.

months passed and their friendship was going great, skelebab would hunt and gather and the human would bring things from his own home and they would trade and laugh and generally enjoy one another's company.

fall rolled around and his human companion started to act wierd. he would glance around often and act very jittery whenever the bab was near. 

mid fall the bab found out why when he woke up in a very dark and dank room underground.

the human confessed that he had been playing the bab the entire time. all he was trying to do was initiate a ritual that would grant him access to death itself and allow him to control it.

he had tried and tried again with many animals before him and none had worked. but he saw how intelligent and powerful this bab was and thought that it'd be a good thing to try out.

hurt and betrayed, the bab could only watch in horror as the human peeled away his skin and ripped out his organs.

the human, obviously insane, had misunderstood what the ritual did. the initiator wasn't the one who would gain death, it was the creature who died.

the mantibabs body was indeed strong enough to hold a small piece of death's power and was reanimated. he now runs around  rattling to and fro from different regions, untrusting of everyone and everything...

-if he's hit really hard his bones can fall apart but they'll attach right away again uwu

-being so light he's able to run really fast and jump really high without having to worry about breaking becasue he's technically immortal uwu

-his laugh can send a chill down your spine and he's been known to make people die of fright

-he holds a sliver of death's power and can scare people to death

-if someone touches his horns he has the ability to steal their soul.

it turns out that uh, candy corn and vampire are no longer available u//v//u (just so you know i didn't keep either of them.)

murder me i want to keep this one. look at this pretty baby UGH i might just make different skeleton babs and stuff. probably not but whatevs a jawn can dream.

whoever gets this one better take care of him >:c

OH AND IMPORTANt: bab flesh is striped. as are the bones. the bones are very lightly banded though. and gain color in the horns.
